Dear Leigh,

Thanks so much for sharing this. Right now I’m working on a surgical ward in Calgary that specializes in hepatobilary surgeries, and my first patient was a 36-year-old with Crohn’s. I’d read about what the disease does, but it’s a totally different thing to see it, and I think it’s great for everyone to hear what that experience is like.

On a lighter note, I loved the story about the masturbating patient – hahaha, crazy things happen!
